San Diego Hula Academy focuses our energies and efforts into guiding the success of their students through teaching cultural practices, traditions, and teamwork.

We continue to be blessed by the generosity of our SDHA ‘Ohana and supporters. Prior funds have helped enhance our student experiences with cultural workshops, education, competitions, and by offsetting costuming costs.

In 2026, Team SDHA will be competing under our Hawaiian name, Kūhai Hālau O Kawenaokalāʻīokalani Pā ʻŌlapa Kahiko at the George Naʻope Hula Festival from July 17-19th in Sacramento, CA.

Contributions of any size will fuel Team SDHA dancers as they pursue excellence at the competition and strengthen their journey long after the competition is over. Your support assists with the costs of travel, accommodations, nutrition, musicians, florals, and more.
